Security guard found dead on roadside in Calatagan

A security guard was found lying dead on the roadside in Calatagan, Batangas,  according to Paul Hernandez's report on GMA Regional TV, "Balitang Amianan."

The victim, Vicente Tabora, 38, works for an animal farm in Brgy. Paradise in Calatagan. He was recognized by employees who were on their way to work at the farm.

“Pagkakita nila itinawag agad dito sa police station. Hindi naman agad nila malapitan at siyempre natatakot po sila," said Police Staff Sergeant and investigator, Dennis Mira of Calatagan Police Station.

The victim had gunshot wounds on his head and shoulder. Police said they have a person of interest, but did not provide details.

"Base po sa nakuhang fire bullet ng nag-autopsy sa kanya ay from caliber 32  . Pero still subject for ballistic examination po 'yun," Mira said.
