3 minors stabbed in scuffle outside school in Tuguegarao

Three minors were hurt after they were stabbed during a scuffle outside a school in Tuguegarao City.

According to Emil Sumangil's report on "24 Oras", a boy allegedly ran into a group of minors before the fight started.

Punches were thrown and one suddenly pulled out a knife and started stabbing.

The authorities are still looking the suspect. 

“Itong ating biktima ay nasagi lang po noong suspect at doon na po yung umpisa ng kanilang paginitan,” said Police Lieutenant Rosemarie Taguiam.

With the help of the local government, DepEd, and PNP, they agreed to meet the parents to guide the children.

They also assured to strengthen the security outside the school.

“There are security guards, but medyo malayo doon sa insidente nandon sila sa may jeep yung police po natin meron nagpa-patrol outside, not inside, kasi as much as possible po sana iniiwas din sana natin na makapasok sa school ang pulis, since that’s not allowed,” said Tuguegarao City Mayor Maila Ting Que. —Sherylin Untalan/NB, GMA News
