3 hurt as SUV hits tricycle in Tayabas

Three persons were injured after a sports utility vehicle crashed into a tricycle in Barangay Isabang, Tayabas City, Quezon.

In Paul Hernandez’s report on GMA Regional TV “Balitang Southern Tagalog,” Michael Angelo Navarro was driving along Maharlika Highway when he struck the tricycle before dawn Wednesday.

Investigation showed that Navarro allegedly fell asleep, causing his SUV to go wayward on the other side of the road.

Due to the strong impact of the collision, the tricycle driver and his two  passengers were wounded.

The SUV also rammed into a house by the roadside and damaged its wall.

Navarro reportedly agreed to pay the damages in the incident.
