30-year-old construction worker shot dead by rider in San Juan, Batangas

A 30-year-old man was killed after he was shot while returning home in San Juan, Batangas.

In a report by Denice Abante on GMA Regional TV "Balitang Southern Tagalog" on Friday, the victim was identified as Marvin Reyes, a construction worker.

According to the police, the victim was on his way home after buying medicine for a friend.

On his way home, Reyes was shot and killed by an assailant riding a motorcycle in Barangay Palahanan Dos.

According to the victim's mother, her son didn't have enemies. 

The investigation is still on going as authorities are looking at a personal grudge as the motive for the crime. —Sherylin Untalan/NB, GMA News
