Dad, 5-year-old son killed in South Cotabato truck crash

A father and his 5-year-old son were killed after a 10-wheeler truck crashed into several vehicles in South Cotabato.

According to Dano Tingcungco’s “24 Oras Weekend” report on Saturday, 17 people were also injured in the road incident in Tupi, South Cotabato.

Based on the investigation, the 10-wheeler truck allegedly lost its brakes while on a downhill section of road.

Police have taken the truck driver into custody.

The report said the driver apologized to the families of the victims.
