Child loses part of nose as dog attacks in Dinalupihan

A six-year-old child lost a part his nose after he was attacked by a dog in their neighborhood in Dinalupihan, Bataan.

According to Russel Simorio's report on GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon, the child was walking to the story to buy snacks when the dog bit his face.

The dog reportedly has bitten at least four persons in the community.

Amado Nuguid, chairman of Barangay Pentor, said barangay officers had asked around who the owner of the dog was.

He expressed doubt that someone would admit ownership of the dog because of the number of persons it already attacked.

The latest victim had been given anti-rabies shots but would need to be taken to a bigger hospital for the treatment of his nose. —NB, GMA News
