1 killed, 3 hurt in Bataan truck accident

MANILA, Philippines - At least one person was killed while three others were injured after a 10-wheeler truck they were riding ran out of control and crashed in Bataan province Wednesday night. Radio dzRH reported Thursday morning that the incident occurred at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Sitio Gatao in Nagbalayong village in Morong town in Bataan. Killed was Edwin Sanchez, who died before doctors at the Bagac Community Medical Hospital could attend to his injuries. Injured were truck driver Ancieto de Guzman, 38; and passengers Mario Atalbo, 33, and Joel Manangat, 37. Initial investigation showed the truck was cruising along Sitio Gatao when de Guzman lost control of the truck's brakes. The truck careened to the right side of the road and crashed. - GMANews.TV
