3 men drown in Lingayen beach resort - report


LINGAYEN, Pangasinan - A Holy Week vacation turned tragic for swimmers who drowned in a beach resort in Lingayen town in Pangasinan province last Good Friday. Radio dzBB on Sunday reported that the incident occurred at 3:45 p.m. in Lingayen Beach, when the three were trying to rescue a fourth swimmer who was pulled by strong waves. Initial reports identified the three fatalities as Neil Bautista, Arnel Teodoro, and Rogelio Macapili, who were trying to save one Rob Louie Rosales. While the three managed to save Rosales, they themselves got pulled by the waves. The victims failed to reach the Sto. Niño Hospital in Lingayen alive. - GMANews.TV
