Pacquiao gets another rousing welcome, this time in GenSan

MANILA, Philippines - After getting a rousing hero's welcome in Manila, World Boxing Council super featherweight champion Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao got another warm hero's welcome - this time in his home city. Radio dzBB reported that Pacquiao arrived to festive welcome rites prepared by Mayor Pedro Acharon Jr and Rep. Darlene Custodio at the General Santos International Airport Wednesday morning. The report said Pacquiao was feted on a motorcade and was to proceed to Malungon town in Sarangani province where he would be "treated" to a victory lunch and be conferred the rank of "Datu."
