Man electrocuted while flying kite in Catanauan, Quezon

A 22-year-old who was flying a kite died after he was electrocuted in Catanauan, Quezon.

According to a report on "Saksi", Darwin Rogel was flying a kite when his body touched a live wire that was dangling at a vacant lot.

He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.

"Naunawaan naman po ng family kasi hindi naman po sinasadya 'yung pangyayari," said Police Maj. Lawrence Panganiban, the chief of police in Catanauan.

The live wire has since been removed to prevent more accidents. —NB, GMA Integrated News
