Two-year-old dies after getting hit accidentally by jeep driven by father

A two-year-old child died in Mauban, Quezon after he was accidentally hit by a jeep his father was driving.

According to Mariz Umali's report on "24 Oras", the father was moving the jeep in reverse when the accident happened.

“Hindi naman po nagulungan… Pero may tama po kasi malakas po ang pagkakahampas,” said Mauban Police Station chief Police Major Reynaldo Pañebe said.

(The child was not rolled over. However, he was hurt from the impact.)

Police said the victim might have followed the father out of the house and the mother didn't notice. —Sundy Locus/NB, GMA Integrated News
