Davao City college allows students to wear shorts, amid warm weather

Students at a college in Davao City are now allowed to wear shorts to prevent heat strain amid the rising temperature, according to a report on “State of the Nation” on Wednesday.

The school management, however, clarified only certain types of shorts will be allowed. Micro shorts or those measuring two inches above the knee are prohibited.

Meanwhile, several schools in Iloilo shifted to blended learning due to the extreme heat.

In Iloilo National High School, around 35 heat-related incidents were reported while some teachers have experienced high blood pressure.
