Negros student lends mom her shoes, comes up on stage barefoot

A graduating student in Bago City, Negros Occidental touched the hearts of netizens after she gave her shoes to her mom and walked on stage barefoot during the graduation rites.

According to a report on “24 Oras” Friday, Ann Rose Quito said her mother’s sandals were damaged during the ceremony on Wednesday. However, they still need to go up the stage for the investiture rites that’s why she offered her shoes to her mother.

Ann Rose earned praise from netizens, who were touched by her thoughtful gesture.
