SC Justice Maria Filomena Singh, who attended the event, said the rule of law must be the economy’s anchor for it to flourish.
"And we can only realize that with efficient, responsive, real-time justice delivery," she was quoted as saying.
Also in attendance were Interior Undersecretary Lord Villanueva, Justice Undersecretary Raul Vasquez, Senator Francis Tolentino, and Tagaytay Mayor Abraham Tolentino.
The SC said that the establishment of justice zones adheres to the JSCC’s objective of swift and fair administration of the criminal justice system.
