Decapitated woman's body found in Lanao del Sur

A woman's body with the head cut off was found on the shore of Kapatagan, Lanao del Sur.

Authorities said another woman found the dead body in Barangay Bakikis, according to information gathered by GMA Regional TV One Mindanao and aired on Unang Balita on Wednesday.

Police are still trying to determine the identity of the victim.

The victim was wearing pink and black long-sleeved floral top and black pants and was probably between 30 to 40 years old.

The body has already been buried.

Meanwhile police urged residents to contact them should they have a woman family member who is missing. —KG, GMA Integrated News
