Mother, 2 children killed as car hits tree on Limay highway

A mother and her two children were killed after their car hit a tree on the Roman Highway in Limay, Bataan.

According to Lei Alviz's report on "Saksi," the father and another child were brought to the hospital.

Police are investigating whether the accident was caused by human error or a car issue.

"Maaari din po siyang masasabing mechanical error dahil ‘yung kotse nga po niya ay isang 1995. Medyo luma na po," said Police Maj. Dennis Duran, chief of the Limay Police Station.

(It could be mechanical error because the car is a 1995 model. It's a bit old.)

The victims' loved ones have so far declined to give any statement as regards the mishap. —NB, GMA Integrated News
