Bus terminal in Laurel, Batangas hit by grenade attack

A bus terminal in Barangay Bugaan East, Laurel, Batangas was recently hit by a grenade attack.

Nine minibuses were damaged, according to a report on Unang Balita on Monday based on information gathered by GMA Regional TV Balitang Southern Tagalog.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Initial investigation by Laurel Police showed that the security guard of the terminal, Albert Serrano, was resting inside one of the parked minibuses when he heard a loud explosion coming from a nearby minibus.

The vehicles' windows were damaged.

Investigation is ongoing to determine the identity of the suspect and possible motive. —KG, GMA Integrated News
