Bulacan Gov. Fernando recuperating after falling ill during event

Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando is recuperating after falling ill during an event in the provincial capitol’s gymnasium on Monday, the provincial government said on Wednesday.

“Sa ngayon siya po ay kasalukuyang nagpapahinga at maganda na ang kalagayan sa tulong ng ating Panginoon,” the Bulacan government said in a statement.

According to the provincial government, after his duty at his office on Monday evening, Fernando went straight to an event held at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium where he felt ill.

Bulacan Vice Governor Alex Castro approached him for immediate care.
