Motorcycle rider dead after slamming into trailer truck

A motorcycle rider died after slamming into a trailer truck in San Pascual, Batangas, according to a Tuesday report on “State of the Nation.”

According to the investigation, the victim was apparently looking for something on his motorcycle and did not notice that he had drifted into the opposite lane. 

The rider slammed into the oncoming trailer truck and was thrown meters away due to the impact. He was rushed to the nearest hospital but was declared dead on arrival. 

The truck driver is currently in police custody and has yet to issue a statement. He and the victims’ relatives are set to meet for a discussion. — Sundy Locus/BM, GMA Integrated News
