Fireworks buyers flock to Bocaue amid possible price increase

Amid the expected increase in the prices of fireworks as the New Year nears, buyers started flocking to firecracker stores in Bocaue, Bulacan as early as Christmas Day.

In a report on Balitanghali, GMA’s Marisol Abdurahman said buyers from as far as Bataan went to Bocaue to get firecrackers at a low price.

Some vendors said their prices may increase in the coming days starting December 26 while others said their prices remain the same for now.

According to the report, the sellers did not expect the number of people who came and bought fireworks on Christmas Day.
