3 suspects arrested for allegedly killing, tying up, dragging a dog on a motorbike in Iligan City

The two suspects have been arrested while another companion surrendered to the police for allegedly killing, tying up, and dragging a dog while on a motorbike.

The video recording of a netizen showing a dog lying on the road in Iligan City in Lanao del Norte tied to a piece of wire has gone viral, according to GMA Regional TV One Mindanao's report on "Saksi."

A man then pulls the wire and attaching this to the back of the motorcycle. The same man boards the motorcycle and the driver speeds away dragging the dog behind them.

The two suspects have been arrested while another companion surrendered to the police.

The suspects said they killed the dog because it had already bitten many people in their area.

The suspects are facing charges related to the violation of the Animal Welfare Act. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
