Fire hits warehouse, 2 factories in Guiguinto, Bulacan
A fire hit a warehouse and two nearby factories in Barangay Tiaong in Guiguinto, Bulacan late afternoon on Tuesday, according to the report of EJ Gomez on "Saksi."
Officials have raised a third alarm as Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) personnel continue working to extinguish the fire.
Residents in the area notice the fire around 5:30 p.m. outside a warehouse and they immediately tried to put out the fire using fire extinguishers. But due to the strong winds and lack of limited resources, the fire spread to a nearby warehouse.
Three warehouses, so far, have been affected including a diaper factory, and two others that manufacture plastic products.
The fire in the three plastics warehouses were put out after four hours, according to a report on Unang Balita on Wednesday.
No one was hurt in the incident, according to the Bulacan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
The BFP is determining if a grassfire nearby caused the fire. — BAP/KG, GMA Integrated News
