Woman cut in half after truck accident in Cebu

The body of a 65-year-old woman was cut in half after she was run over by a 10-wheeler truck in Cebu City on Sunday morning.

According to a report of GMA Regional TV Balitang Bisdak's Fe Marie Dumaboc on 24 Oras Weekend, the accident occurred along South Road Properties.

Based on initial investigation, the truck was about to go down the bridge when the victim, a resident of Mandaue City, suddenly crossed the road and the truck was not able to hit its brakes in time.

GMA Regional TV is still trying to get a statement from the driver, who is already in the custody of the traffic enforcement unit. He is facing a complaint of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
