3 dead, 6 hurt as military truck falls off ravine in Davao de Oro

Three people were killed when a military truck fell off a ravine in Barangay Andap in New Bataan, Davao de Oro, Unang Balita reported on Monday.

The fatalities were one soldier and two members of the Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit (CAFGU).

According to the police, the truck was on its way to a groundbreaking ceremony when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which then fell off a ravine and straight into a river.

Aside from the three fatalities, six other CAFGU members were wounded in the incident. —KBK, GMA Integrated News
