Marcos tasks agencies to hasten land title distribution in Zamboanga

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. on Friday tasked concerned agencies in Zamboanga Peninsula to hasten the distribution of land titles to agrarian reform beneficiaries.

(Our Register of Deeds has a huge role in all the things that we do. To the Land Management Services of DENR and to the Land Bank of the Philippines, and to other local officials in Zamboanga, let us continue to help one another.)

(I reiterate my directive to hasten the process of land title distribution and other services to our beneficiaries. To our Agrarian Reform Program, let us end the hardships of our farmers against the threat of hunger, having loans, and poverty.)

Marcos said that he has been visiting different parts of the country to personally see the handover of assistance to farmers and fisherfolk, adding that he also wants to assess the condition of local residents.

The President distributed more than 4,900 land titles and assistance to farmers from Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, and Zamboanga Sibugay.

He also turned over more than P15 million worth of farming tools and equipment benefiting 15,773 ARBs to increase their productivity. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
