Senior citizen loses P700k after being ‘hypnotized’ by budol gang

A senior citizen lost over P700,000 after she was allegedly hypnotized by three women in Cebu City.

According to a State of the Nation report on Thursday, the victim, a retired government employee, said she withdrew the money because she was “hypnotized” by the suspects.

Authorities are now gathering CCTV footage to identify the suspects, who may have been part of a budol gang.
