Woman arrested for exploiting own children, other minors

Authorities have arrested an individual for involvement in the creation and production of Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Material (CSAEM) in Iligan City, according to the National Coordination Center Against OSAEC and CSAEM.

The center said that on July 21, six minors—three of whom are the woman's children and one is a relative—were rescued during the operation by the Multidisciplinary Team and Task Force of Iligan City Against Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC).

The victims were two years old, four years old, five years old, eight years old, 16 years old, and 17 years old.

They were turned over to the City Social Welfare and Development Office for support and rehabilitation.

Authorities confiscated various paraphernalia used in the crime through the implementation of a warrant to search, seize, and examine computer data.

The suspect was later brought to Iligan City Police Station 2 for booking procedures and proper disposition.

“As the investigation unfolds, authorities remain vigilant in their pursuit of justice,” the center said. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
