Magnitude 4.8 jolts Talacogon, Agusan del Sur

A magnitude 4.8 earthquake hit southeast of Talacogon in Agusan del Sur on Friday afternoon, the PHIVOLCS reported.

The agency earlier reported that a magnitude-5.0 quake with a depth of 10 kilometers.

The quake, which was tectonic in origin occurred at 4:55 p.m. with a depth of 13 kilometers.

The quake was felt as Intensity II in Cagayan de Oro City.

The PHIVOLCS is expecting damages but no aftershocks. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
