2 women on motorcycle killed after getting hit by van
Two women were killed after a van hit their motorcycle in Zarraga, Iloilo.
In Kim Salinas’ Monday report on "State of the Nation," the victims were brought to the hospital but eventually died.
According to the police, the van was going fast and getting into the motorcycle’s lane.
The van driver denied the allegation but before the incident, a report showed that he hit a house.
He is facing several criminal charges.
Meanwhile, a motorcycle slammed into a jeepney making a turn in Lmabunao, Iloilo.
The motorcycle rider was thrown off but only sustained minimal injuries.
The jeepney owner and the motorcycle rider have settled.
In Davao City, a woman motorcycle rider was run over by a dump truck.
Based on the investigation, the motorcycle’s handlebar hit the truck’s tire, which caused the woman to lose her balance and be thrown off.
The driver did not comment on the incident. He will be facing charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and damage to property.
