Kanlaon Volcano emits 200-meter ash plume
Kanlaon Volcano had another round of ash emissions from its summit crater on Thursday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
According to an advisory, the emission lasted a total of 36 minutes between 5:30 p.m. to 6:06 p.m.
The emission resulted in gray plumes up to 200 meters above the crater that eventually drifted southwest.

Kanlaon Volcano had two ash emissions on Wednesday morning.
The volcano remains on Alert Level 3 following an explosive eruption on December 9. The event and continued volcanic activity resulted in evacuations of communities surrounding Mt. Kanlaon.—Jiselle Anne Casucian/RF, GMA Integrated News
