Senior citizen dies after being hit by SUV in Pangasinan

A senior citizen died after he and his grandchild were hit by an SUV while riding a motorcycle at Barangay Bungalon in Labrador, Pangasinan.

According to a "State of the Nation" report on Thursday, CCTV footage showed the two victims turning a corner on their way to school when the SUV crashed into them.

Due to the strong impact, both riders and their motorcycle were thrown on the road.

The crash resulted in the death of the senior citizen, while his grandchild sustained wounds and broken bones.

Footage showed the child attempting to stand with the help of a Barangay Kagawad.

The Barangay captain stated that the SUV may not have seen the motorcycle attempting to turn and was not able to hit the brake in time.
