Cebu farmer fatally stabbed over remarks on friend’s home-made 'tuba'

A farmer died after he was stabbed by his friend after an argument over home-made 'tuba' or coconut wine on Wednesday evening at Barangay Malalay in Ronda, Cebu. 

According to Gabriel Bonjoc’s report on DYSS Super Radyo GMA on Thursday, the suspect repeatedly stabbed the farmer who allegedly made a negative comment on the tuba or coconut wine he made. 

Investigation also showed the victim remarked the tuba might have been mixed with rainwater. 

This irked the suspect, leading to a heated argument that ended with the stabbing. 

The suspect was immediately arrested by the authorities. He is be facing murder charges, the report said. — Vince Angelo Ferreras/RF, GMA Integrated News
