Some Ilocos Sur courts suspend work on March 12, 2025

All courts in some areas in Ilocos Sur will suspend work on Wednesday afternoon due to a power interruption.

According to the Supreme Court, all courts and offices in Candon City, Galimuyod, Sta. Cruz, Sta. Lucia and Gregorio del Pilar will suspend work starting at 2 p.m. on March 12.

“In view of the power interruption on March 12 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m…. and considering the high heat index experienced in the province, work in all courts and offices is hereby suspended starting at 2 p.m.,” a memorandum from Candon Regional Trial Court Executive Judge Gina Juan-Chan stated.
