1 hurt after two trucks, van figure in SLEX collision

One individual was hurt after two trucks and a van figured in a collision along South Luzon Expressway on Friday.

According to a report in “24 Oras”, the video from a YouScooper showed that the trailer truck’s front was severely dilapidated while a wing van fell to its side.

Another YouScooper also shared that the southbound lane near Sto. Tomas, Batangas was impassable at around noon due to the incident, the report added.

Initial investigation by the Philippine National Police Highway Patrol Group said that one of the wheels of the trailer truck exploded which caused it to hit the concrete barriers.

The driver of the wing van suddenly hit the brakes and it was in turn hit by another truck.

An aide of one of the truck drivers was hurt and brought to the hospital.=
