Vilma Santos-Recto leads race for Batangas governor

Vilma Santos-Recto is currently leading the vote count for Batangas governor in the 2025 midterm elections, according to the partial and unofficial tally of the Commission on Elections.

As of 9:50 p.m. Monday, Santos-Recto had 528,755 votes, followed by Mike Rivera with 429,363 votes.

However, her son, Luis Manzano, is lagging behind in the race for vice governor.

Dodo Mandanas has so far garnered 662,341 votes, followed by Manzano with 455,589 votes.

The Comelec has processed a total of 1,371,194 votes, or 81.08% of total votes, out of 1,958,794 registered voters. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
