3 voters wanted for various crimes arrested on Election Day
Three voters, who are wanted for committing various crimes, were arrested in separate operations on Election Day on Monday in Cavite and Batangas.
According to John Consulta’s exclusive report in “24 Oras” on Wednesday, the suspects were nabbed at their respective voting precincts.
A suspect wanted for carnapping was arrested by the Calabarzon Police in Bacoor, Cavite right after he cast his vote.
“Itong suspect na ito ay may kasong carnapping. Noong election day nga, mayroong impormante na nagsabi na ang suspect na ito ay boboto….Pagkatapos bumoto ay kanila nang hinuli,” said Calabarzon Police Director Brigadier General Paul Kenneth Lucas.

The suspect attempted to evade arrest, but the operatives were still able to catch up with him.
In a separate operation in Bacoor, the regional police got a tip that a suspect wanted for illegal drugs will cast his vote in a specific precinct. He was arrested immediately and was not able to vote.
Another operation, this time in Tanauan, Batangas, also led to the arrest of an individual who was issued an arrest warrant for violence against women and children.
