Couple, 15-year-old son killed in Malaybalay massacre

A couple and their 15-year-old son were found bloodied and dead inside their house in Barangay Managoc in Malabalay City, Bukidnon.

According to the report of GMA Regional TV's Cyril Chavez on "24 Oras," the victims were hit on the head and had wounds on their bodies.

Police found a hammer and a steel pipe at the scene of the crime, which reportedly happened before midnight on Wednesday.

The couple's two younger children, aged 10 and eight, escaped and reported the crime to barangay officials the following morning.

Investigators are setting aside robbery as a possible motive because their valuables were intact. –NB, GMA Integrated News
