Magnitude 5.0 quake strikes waters off Sarangani Island, Davao Occidental

A magnitude 5.0 earthquake hit the waters off Sarangani Island in Sarangani town, Davao Occidental on Monday evening, Phivolcs said.

The earthquake of tectonic origin was recorded 91 kilometers south of Sarangani Island at 6:48 p.m. It has a depth of 82 kilometers. 

Instrumental Intensity I was recorded in Malungon and Alabel in Sarangani
