Jeep loses brakes, hits motorcycle, tricycle, car in Antipolo

A public utility jeep going uphill in the middle of a traffic jam hit a motorcycle, a tricycle, and a car behind it after it lost its brakes and moved backward in Antipolo City.

According to a report on "Saksi," the jeep was repeatedly moving forward and backward before it moved fully backward and hit the three vehicles.

Dashcam footage showed that the rider fell off his motorcycle, while a jeepney passenger moved on top of the tricycle.

The rider sustained injuries and was brought to the hospital.

Based on the police investigation, the jeepney moved backwards due to brake failure.
