Man fatally dragged by PNR train in Camarines Sur

A man was killed after being dragged by a Philippine National Railways (PNR) train in Barangay Bagong Bayan, Libmanan, Camarines Sur.

The police said a witness saw the man suddenly appear on the tracks just moments before the train struck him, according to an Unang Balita report on Monday.

The victim was reportedly dragged for about five meters before the train came to a full stop.

Authorities are still working to determine the man's identity.

Meanwhile, efforts are underway to locate the train operator involved in the incident. —Sherylin Untalan/KG, GMA Integrated News
