Suspect nabbed in Zamboanga City over alleged holdup using pellet gun

A man was arrested after allegedly robbing two individuals at a parking lot in Barangay Santa Maria, Zamboanga City, according to a report on GMA Integrated News’ Unang Balita on Wednesday.

The suspect aboard a motorcycle pointed a gun at the victims and asked for their cellphones and wallet.

When he was tucking the robbed items to his waist, one of the victims grabbed him. Personnel from the barangay and police responded to the area and arrested the suspect.

Authorities confiscated his firearm, which turned out to be a pellet gun.

The suspect is expected to face charges, but he has yet to provide a statement on the incident, the report said. —Joviland Rita/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
