3 fishermen rescued after boat sinks in El Nido

The Philippine Coast Guard rescued three fishermen whose boat sank in the waters of El Nido, Palawan during the weekend.

In Christian Mano’s report on Super Radyo on Sunday, Coast Guard Station Palawan was informed by a resort that a fishing banca (outrigger canoe) is sinking in Pasindagan Cove at 4:50 p.m. Saturday.

The Coast Guard dispatched a quick response team at 5 p.m. to conduct a search and rescue mission. The team was able to locate the distressed vessel and rescue the fishermen.
