House ransacked; P110T estimated valuables stolen

SIBULAN, Negros Oriental - Burglars ransacked a house inside the Pacific Square Subdivision in Barangay Maslog, Sibulan town around 9:20 Wednesday morning. SPO4 Dario Calusor of Sibulan police identified the owner of the house as Harold and Leah Tan. Calusor said Ramil Rameriz, the caretaker of the couple's house, discovered the burglary. According to Ramirez, when he arrived at the house to feed the dog, he discovered the window glass was destroyed. Inside the house, he also saw the doorknob of the couple's room destroyed. Calusor said the couple lost 10 pieces of gold earrings, 4 gold necklace, a sonny DVD player and P5,000 cash. The Theft and Robbery Section of Sibulan police are still conducting a follow-up investigation. - Sun.Star
