72-year-old woman run over by 10-wheeler truck in Iloilo City

A 72-year-old woman died after she was run over by a 10-wheeler truck in La Paz, Iloilo City.

According to the report of Super Radyo Iloilo’s Sevein Hope Gegantoca on Friday, the La Paz Police said that the truck driver did not see the victim crossing the road.

The elderly victim was brought to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

The driver is now under police custody and might face charges for reckless imprudence resulting to homicide. — Vince Angelo Ferreras/BAP, GMA Integrated News
