Cebu solon offers P500K reward for tips on anomalous flood control projects

Cebu Representative Duke Frasco has offered a P500,000 reward for any credible information on anomalies involving flood control projects implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in the fifth district of Cebu.

“I am offering a personal reward of P500,000 for any credible information that may lead to the finding of any anomalies or irregularities in DPWH flood control projects within the 5th District of Cebu. Please report directly to this hotline 0956 279 4183 and the Citizens’ Complaint Hotline 8888,” Frasco said in a statement.

“I will never tolerate any irregularities or substandard work,” he added.

Likewise, the lawmaker said that he has already asked the DPWH regional office to conduct a full review of all projects in his district.

“I fully support efforts to uphold transparency and accountability in all government-funded projects,” Frasco added.—Llanesca Panti/LDF, GMA Integrated News
