Woman nabbed for allegedly pimping own kids, sibling in Leyte
A woman was arrested for allegedly pimping her young children and a sibling online in Leyte.
According to John Consulta’s report in “Saksi” on Wednesday, the suspect was nabbed by operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation’s (NBI) Human Trafficking Division at her residence in Ormoc City, Leyte.
The NBI said it received information from the Department of Justice that the suspect has sent lascivious photos and videos to an American citizen via a social media platform.
“Several child sexual abuse and exploitation materials are being uploaded sa isang Facebook account between an American national and a Filipina based in Ormoc City….’Yung ating first victim, actually umayaw na po siya, kasi 15 years old na po siya pero patuloy pa rin po siyang ine-exploit ng kanyang nanay,” said NBI Human Trafficking Division chief Rosalie Laguardia.

The 15-year-old victim was rescued while she was in school. Her siblings who are ages 7, 4, and 3 years old were also being pimped online. Further, the suspect’s eight-year-old sibling is also being exploited as well, the report added.
All the victims were turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
