Man nabbed for alleged repeated sexual abuse of stepdaughter in Antipolo

Authorities arrested a man for alleged repeated sexual abuse of his stepdaughter in Barangay San Roque, Antipolo.

According to Nico Waje’s Monday report on “Saksi,” the victim said the alleged abuse started in December 2019 when she was 12 years old.

The alleged abuse continued when the victim’s mother left with her elder sibling for a medical checkup.

She then reported it to her mother, but the suspect said it was made up.

The alleged abuse went on for about four years before the elder sibling found out and reported it to their biological father.

The father said he found out what happened to the victim in 2023.

He also saw a screenshot of the victim’s conversation with her friend in which she said she was being sexually abused by her stepfather.

A doctor examined the victim before a complaint was filed with the barangay and police.

The father said her daughter, who is a person with disability, was traumatized.

The police reminded parents to be cautious of the people around their children.

The victim, who refused to comment on the matter, is under police custody.
