Dead baby found on beach in Tangalan, Aklan

The remains of a baby girl was found floating along the shore of Barangay Jawili in Tangalan, Aklan.

According to a report of Super Radyo Kalibo's Lyneth Mendoza on Wednesday, the body was found by people who were swimming on the beach. They later reported the matter to authorities. 

A priest offered a prayer for the deceased child, who was buried at a local cemetery in Tangalan. 

Residents who discovered the body believe that the baby was a newborn. However, investigation is still ongoing to identify the mother and persons who may be linked to the child's fate. — Vince Angelo Ferreras/ VDV, GMA Integrated News
