Father hacked to death by son in Mati, Davao Oriental

A 68-year-old man was hacked to death by his son inside their home in at Barangay Sainz in Mati City, Davao Oriental. 

According to the report of Super Radyo Davao’s Francis Timbal on Tuesday, the suspect, a former drug surrenderee, eventually surrendered to the authorities and admitted to the crime. 

The report said the victim and the suspect had an argument which pushed the latter to hack his father to death. 

The suspect is now under the custody of the Mati City Police and is facing parricide charges. —Vince Angelo Ferreras/RF, GMA Integrated News
