Other suspect in truck driver’s shooting killed in encounter with GenSan cops

The other assailant behind the shooting of a truck driver in Barangay Lagao in General Santos City was killed after he allegedly resisted arrest.

According to the report of Barangay FM 102.3 Gensan’s Moristo Jun Pandamon on Thursday, authorities tracked the male suspect at Barangay Baluntay in Sarangani on Wednesday.

However, the man exchanged fire with the police, leading to his death.

Police seized the gun and ammunition that the suspect allegedly used in the crime. 

Earlier this week, motorcycle-riding assailants shot a truck driver and his helper in Barangay Lagao, General Santos City. Both victims were injured after the attack.

The truck driver identified the backrider as his former live-in partner. The woman was arrested but denied involvement in the crime.
